by Lori Collins

For many families, choosing a home in Springville is as much about the academic landscape as it is about the historic downtown or the nearby mountains. Known nationally as "Art City" for its museum and creative culture, Springville’s schools are equally impressive, reflecting the community’s commitment to academic excellence, innovative programs, and nurturing every student's unique potential.

Whether your children are just starting their educational journey or are ready to excel in advanced academics and state athletics, this post is your essential guide to every school in our city, including which neighborhoods are zoned for them.

How to Check Your School Boundaries: A Step-by-Step Guide

Nebo School District provides two primary ways to verify which school a specific address is zoned for. I recommend using both to double-check, especially if you are looking at a home in a newer development like the West Fields.

Option 1: The Interactive Boundary Map (Best for Visualizing Zones)

This tool allows you to see the "catchment areas" for every school in the district.

  1. Visit the Nebo Interactive Map: Go to nebo.edu/interactive-maps.

  2. Select Your Level: Choose either the "Elementary Boundary Map" or the "Secondary Boundary Map" (for Middle and High schools).

  3. Search Your Address: Use the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner to type in a specific street address.

  4. Identify the Zone: The map will drop a pin on the property. Click on the shaded area surrounding the pin to see a pop-up with the name of the assigned school.

Option 2: Infofinder i (Best for Bus Routes & Precise Verification)

If you need to know exactly where the bus stop is or if a specific house is just across a boundary line, this is the most precise tool.

  1. Access the Bus Route Finder: Go to the Nebo Transportation Page.

  2. Enter Address Details: Type in the house number and street name. Pro-Tip: Skip the "School" and "Zip Code" fields for a faster search.

  3. Review the Results: The system will instantly display the assigned Elementary, Middle, and High schools, along with the nearest bus stop location and pick-up times for the 2025–2026 school year.

Important Note for 2026 Homebuyers

Boundary realignments sometimes occur in February for the following school year. If you are looking at a property near a boundary line, it is always a good idea to call the Nebo School District at (801) 354-7400 to confirm that no changes are planned for that specific neighborhood.
